Updating Thin Clients
(This guide assumes you know how reset the thin client to factory default settings (Hint: need to be in admin mode)).
Disconnect the Aruba/Z3. Thin client should be plugged directly into the router via ethernet.
Agents will needs the following AD profiles on their accounts for the new system to work:
OTOE VDI External Access
RSA_MFA_OTOEMC
Note: If using a newer thin client (balloon or wave background), Factory Reset the thin client (settings will be similar to steps 1-5) and then make sure to validate the thin client enrollment. Then skip to step 10.

Updating Old Thin Clients
1) Factory Reset the Thin Client

2) Select 'No' on "would you like to load a ThinOS configuration file from USB"

3) Choose 'English' for Language > 'English (United States)' for Keyboard Layout, and '(GMT-06:00) Central Time (US, Canada)' for Timezone

4) Click on 'WMS' > Type in "cali" > Type in "Thin8.1OS" > select 'Next'

5) Select 'VMware' > Type in "vdi.caliberfs.com" > Select 'Next'

6) Let the Helpdesk Tech know that your thin client is ready to be 'Validated for Enrollment'.
7) Verify OS is grabbing image (ignore all popups)
click on background > select 'System Information' > select 'Event Log' > look for "WMS agent is retrieving remote ThinOS image..."


8) Wait patiently for update to go through. This step takes around 10 minutes on FAST internet.
9) After system finishes updating, you should see a balloon background.
Let the Helpdesk Tech know that your thin client is ready to be 'Validated for Enrollment' once again.

10) Select 'Install Now' on the prompt that comes up. Thin client will restart once finished.

11) Repeat step 10 but with a fancier background (will take a few minutes to pop up).


12) Let Helpdesk tech know that you are ready for the last update
also inform Helpdesk tech what the asset tag is on the Thin Client (eg. 3474)
(Note for helpdesk tech: Rename Thin Client and move to either 'CaliberVDI' group or 'OP3000' group in Wyse portal)
(Wyse 5070 > CaliberVDI)
(Optiplex 3000 > OP3000)
13) Select prompts for restarting Thin Client.
14) Setup RSA Authenticator app on Agent phone.

15) Check to make sure monitors are of the correct orientation.
