Shared Email Templates Basics
This guide assumes you are already signed in to the Shared Email Templates add-in. You can follow this guide if you need assistance signing in.
Shared Email Templates works in all version of Outlook. This includes Outlook on the Web (OWA), Outlook Classic, and Outlook (New).
How to use a template
1) Open a new mail & access the Shared Email Templates add-in.
- The Shared Email Templates Add-in can be found by selecting the 3 dots on the very right of the ribbon.

2) Verify the body of your new email doesn't include any text or signatures.
3) Locate the desired template and select the "Insert" button.
- Insert button is located above the canned email preview on the left side. It has an arrow pointing inside a box.

4) Verify that the email template imported correctly.
